The first quadrant is called - Do first; because its chores are critical to your life and work and must be completed today or tomorrow. You might use a timer to assist your focus while attempting to complete as many of them as possible. This sort of assignment may include reviewing an essential paper for your management.
The second quadrant is referred to as Schedule. Its responsibilities are significant but not urgent. You should specify any tasks that need to be added to your calendar here. A long-planned relaunch of your gym participation is one example.
Good time managers leave fewer things unscheduled and, as a result, aim to handle the majority of their work in the second quadrant, decreasing stress by deferring urgent and critical tasks to a suitable date.
The third quadrant- Delegate is for tasks that are less important to you than others but rather urgent
Someone phoning you to ask for an urgent favor or come into a meeting is an example of a delegated duty. You might transfer this obligation by recommending a better candidate for the same.
Don't Do is the fourth and final quadrant, and it is intended to assist you to sort out things you should not be doing at all. Discover and break harmful habits, such as surfing the internet for no purpose or gaming for too long; they provide an excuse for not being able to cope with critical duties in the first and second quadrants.
